Steve Stockman introduces bill to allow firearms on military bases
Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Friendswood, introduced a bill Thursday to repeal the ban on carrying weapons on military bases, in the wake of the deadly shooting at the Washington Navy Yard.

He added that the sites are especially “vulnerable” targets for terrorists.
Thirteen people were killed at the Fort Hood shooting in 2009, and 12 people died in the shooting at Navy Yard. Read more at Houston Chronicle
